When BreachForums is Breached

If you have any information regarding the arrest and usage of Raidforums and BreachForums, the FBI is requesting information to aid investigations that can be located, here!

About BreachForums

BreachForums, an English language cybercrime forum, emerged in March 2022 as the successor to RaidForums. It was founded by 19 year old Conor Brian Fitzpatrick, who went by the alias pompompurin. He had previously claimed responsibility for breaching an FBI email server. Conor has had handfuls of numerous and notable breaches throughout time.

However, in March 2023, Fitzpatrick was arrested, and by January 2024, he was sentenced to 20 years of supervised release with strict restrictions, including home confinement and internet prohibition for the first year.

Throughout Time...

After the shutdown, the forum was relaunched by the group known as ShinyHunters, in collaboration with an administrator known as Baphomet. Later, in August 2024, a hacker known by the alias IntelBroker took over administration; he stepped down in January 2025 and handed control to an administrator known as Anastasia.

In April 2025, BreachForums went offline following a PGP signed message from its administrators that law enforcement had exploited an undisclosed zero day vulnerability in the MyBB forum software. They indicated the site was disabled while its backend was rewritten, and warned users that any clones were likely honeypots.

The Takedown of BreachForums

In February 2025, French authorities arrested IntelBroker, identified as 25 year old British national Kai Logan West, also known as Kyle Northern. He had been active under the IntelBroker alias and was linked to a hacking group called CyberN[redacted]. U.S. prosecutors unsealed a four count indictment accusing him of cyber intrusions, wire fraud, and computer fraud spanning from late 2022 through early 2025, causing over 25 million dollars in damages across more than 40 victims.

Shortly after, in June 2025, French police arrested four alleged BreachForums and ShinyHunters administrators known as ShinyHunters, Hollow, Noct, and Depressed.
